For the night before, The Coop provides the perfect space to get ready, allowing you and your party to unwind and soak up the excitement ahead of the big day in peaceful surroundings.
For your guests who are looking for somewhere different to stay, our luxury pods offer a unique glamping experience, perfect for a comfortable and memorable stay just moments from the celebrations. With everything in one beautiful setting, staying on site means no rushing, no travel, just time to celebrate and create unforgettable memories together.
Our country cottages are located within the grounds of Doxford Farm and is the perfect base for holidays and wedding accommodation – we can offer exclusive wedding accommodation for up to 55 guests. Each of our self-catering cottages has been designed to offer luxurious comfort with period character. Comprising of three, two and one-bedrooms, we offer ten guest cottages and one bridal suite.
Every cottage includes wifi, a fully equipped kitchen, cosy sitting room with wood burning stove and beautiful modern bathrooms. We heat the cottages using our own biomass heating system, which keeps them warm throughout the year.
For additional wedding accommodation there is also The Tempus our award-winning sister hotel. All accommodation bookings are made with the couples marrying at Doxford Barns and we are unable to take bookings directly from guests.
The Coop is the perfect space to begin your wedding celebrations in style. Sleeping up to eight guests across four beautifully appointed king sized beds, The Coop offers a relaxed and luxurious setting for the night before your big day. With two modern showers and ensuite facilities, there’s plenty of space for everyone to get ready comfortably and at their own pace.
The spacious dressing area is designed with your wedding morning in mind, providing the ideal space for hair, make up and those special pre ceremony moments. From here you can step seamlessly straight to your ceremony room, allowing for a calm, private and truly special start to your day.
For those wishing to stay on-site and soak up every moment of the celebration, our two cosy accommodation pods – Dorothy and Douglas – offer the perfect retreat.
Each pod sleeps two guests and is ideally situated just across the path from the cottages, providing both convenience and a little extra privacy. Thoughtfully designed for comfort, they feature a double bed, a compact dining area, a shower room, and handy mini kitchen facilities for a relaxed stay.
With peaceful views stretching out over the surrounding farm fields, the pods provide a tranquil setting to unwind after a joyful day.
